How it’s used
쉽다 means easy; with -기 it means “easy to do”: 만들기 쉬워요 (“it’s easy to make”). It can also mean “likely to”: 겨울에는 감기에 걸리기 쉬워요 (“it’s easy to catch a cold in winter”). It is ㅂ-irregular: 쉬워요, 쉬운 문제, but 쉽고, 쉽습니다.
Common mistake
Confusing 쉽다 (easy) with 쉬다 (to rest): 쉬워요 means “it’s easy,” while 쉬어요 means “I’m resting.”
